Do's & Dont's

  • Do Take Name of the person you speak to when you contact a supplier about a quote
  • Do always take the name and number of any supplier that calls you direct.
  • Do confirm all your vehicle details again, with so many model changes mistakes can easily be made
  • Do confirm all part details, try to get part numbers where necessay especially for things like ECU units, engines & gearbox codes.
  • Do confirm all prices, warranties, condition of parts, delivery costs & times, make sure you get a final total for everything you require so there are no hidden surprises later.
  • Do always use a credit or debit card to make payment, a credit card offers protection, under the section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974.
  • Do always conatct the supplier first if you have any problems or there are any changes to your order.
  • Don't pay any supplier cash or make a payment through companies such as Weston Union or money gramm, this method of payment offers no protection.
  • Don't go with the first quote you get or phone call you recieve, wait at least a hour or two to get the maximum number of quotes and then compare them.
  • Don't modify any item you may purchase, this may invalidate your right to return the item and void your warranty.
  • Don't paint any body panel until you are sure it will fit your vehicle and is correct, doing so will render your right to return the item for a refund.
