A longer wheelbase and a choice of engines are just some of the car parts available for Subaru Outback buyers to take advantage of.
This is according to the manufacturer, which unveiled the fourth-generation version of its crossover vehicle this week.
Drivers can opt for manual or automatic transmission as well as horizontally-opposed diesel or petrol engines.
The updated Outback is also longer, taller and wider than its predecessor, providing more comfort and space for passengers, the company said.
Paul Tunnicliffe, managing director of Subaru, said the car offers a combination of features not available in rival models.
"The all-new, fourth-generation Outback raises the bar yet again, in particular thanks to its peerless go-anywhere driveability and its spacious and luxuriously-appointed cabin," he explained.
Other parts under the bonnet include completely reengineered suspension, while inside the car sit gadgets such as Bluetooth connectivity, dual-zone automatic air-conditioning and cruise control.
Prices start at £26,295 on the road.
Meanwhile, Subaru also announced recently it was celebrating the 20th anniversary of its Legacy Tourer with a fifth-generation edition of the estate car.
