Car buyers ‘can get a bargain from Skoda’

Motorists who often buy Skoda car parts in order to help keep a much-loved auto on the road may be interested in some deals being offered by the manufacturer.

The company has claimed it is determined to continue to make buying a vehicle affordable for its customers, despite the economic downturn and high retail interest rates.

It pointed out a typical bank loan currently incurs 9.25 per cent interest.

Finance brand manager Jacqui Rowley said: "We believe this makes our Solutions scheme an attractive option in a car purchase, with great value at only 7.9 per cent."

Meanwhile, there is zero per cent finance on the Octavia at the moment.

In addition, the manufacturer has agreed to pay the VAT on Fabia and Roomster models until the end of September.

However, people who are still reluctant to shell out for a brand new motor may find it is more cost-effective to replace worn parts from their current motor with Skoda car spares bought online.

Skoda takes second place in Belgium

People who regularly buy Skoda car parts online may not be surprised by the manufacturer’s latest success.

The company’s motorsport team took second place at the Ypres Rally in Belgium over the weekend.

Jan Kopecky and Petr Stary achieved this feat behind the wheel of a Skoda Fabia.

The drivers had nothing but praise for the model and the team that supported their efforts.

Kopecky said: “There was no problem with our Fabia – the vehicle showed again that it is fast, reliable and competitive.”

The success comes after Skoda Auto’s factory team secured second place at the Azores Rally a few weeks ago.

A race in Russia will be the group’s next challenge, due to take place from July 9th to 11th.

Meanwhile, Fabia owners who have been pleased with their motor may find they can keep it running smoothly for many years to come by replacing worn parts with Skoda car spares bought online.

Skoda Octavia GreenLine launched

Environmentally-friendly motorists who always ensure they replace worn car parts so that their autos are running as efficiently as possible may be impressed by the latest addition to Skoda’s line-up.

The Octavia GreenLine boasts CO2 emissions of 114 g/km, which means owners will qualify to pay £35 per year road tax.

In addition to this, the group has also released a diesel 1.6 TDI CR version of the vehicle, again releasing less than 120 g/km of CO2.

According to Skoda, the models may prove to be particularly appealing to companies.

Commenting on the autos, product marketing manager Christopher Horrell said: "They are designed purely and simply to reduce impact on the environment, which in turn will lower fleet running costs."

The monthly company car statutory government charge for 40 per cent band tax payers driving the Octavia GreenLine is £69.62.

Meanwhile, motorists who already own a model from the manufacturer may find they can keep it running at its best by replacing worn car parts with Skoda spares bought online.

Skoda increases its discounts

Fans of Skoda models may be pleased to hear the group is increasing its scrappage scheme discounts.

The company announced motorists will now benefit from bigger financial incentives on its Octavia range.

Chris Horrell, product marketing manager, said the government initiative was proving a big hit with its customers and the firm was keen to capitalise on this.

He stated: "We’ve taken over 2,000 orders under the scheme and are confident of that figure rising as more drivers seek to take advantage of the extended offer and Skoda’s economic running costs."

The recently released 1.6 MPI Octavia S and SE are now available to participants in the programme with a £3,000 discount, while the 1.8 TSI edition of the model has seen its price fall by £3,200 as a result of the initiative.

However, motorists who still cannot afford to replace their current model may find they can keep it running at its best for years to come by buying Skoda spares online to replace any worn parts.
