Drivers who want their vehicle’s important car parts checked out before the onset of winter may want to pay a visit to their local Seat dealership.
The manufacturer has announced it is offering a free 32-point auto health check this month – and people can take advantage of the promotion regardless of the make and model of their motor.
Mechanics will pay particular attention to tyres, as Seat claimed these car parts play a key role in road safety.
Head of aftersales Nigel Griggs said it is vital these items are kept in peak condition.
"Driving on defective, excessively worn or incorrectly inflated tyres is potentially highly dangerous," he commented.
The group’s offer has been launched to coincide with the campaign National Tyre Safety Month.
In other news, the Institute of Advanced Motorists recently urged drivers to be particularly careful on rural roads at harvest time.
The organisation explained transporting crops from the fields could result in mud being trailed along country lanes, meaning vehicles may struggle to find grip.
