‘Fuel-efficient’ Mazda3 released

Drivers who attempt to minimise their impact on the environment by replacing worn car parts to ensure their vehicles are running as efficiently as possible may be impressed by the latest addition to Mazda’s line-up.

The manufacturer has revealed customers can now opt for a Mazda3 with Smart Idling Stop System (i-stop).

Buyers will find this technology automatically switches off the engine when the car is stationary or moving at less than 2 mph.

The auto restarts as soon as the driver presses down on the clutch.

According to the company, the system should allow owners to make significant savings at the pump.

Fleet and remarketing director Peter Allibon commented: "The all-new Mazda3 2.0 Sport with our exciting i-stop technology uniquely delivers both performance and cost savings to fleets, company car and individual drivers."

Meanwhile, motorists who already own one of the group’s models may find they can ensure it continues to offer the best possible fuel economy by replacing worn parts with Mazda car spares bought online.

Updated Mazda MX-5 arrives in showrooms

Motorists who replace car parts as soon as they become worn in order to make sure their vehicles are as environmentally-friendly as possible may be impressed by changes to the Mazda MX-5.

Both the 2009 soft-top and roadster coupe versions of the model are now in showrooms up and down the country – and the manufacturer claimed they are the cleanest editions of the auto ever.

The version equipped with the MZR 1.8i engine boasts CO2 emissions of 167 g/km – down from 174 g/km.

In addition to this, its fuel economy has been improved from 38.7 mpg to 40.4 mpg.

The company predicted the new model would be a hit with motorists.

Jeremy Thomson, the group’s managing director, said: "The 2009 MX-5 effectively builds on the qualities that have made the Mazda’s two-seater roadster the best-selling sportscar in the world."

Meanwhile, drivers who are not ready to trade in their current vehicle from the manufacturer may find they can keep it running smoothly for years to come by replacing worn parts with Mazda car spares bought online.

Mazda3 ‘could cut motorists’ outgoings’

Motorists who reduce costs by replacing worn car parts, rather than shelling out for brand new autos, may be impressed by the economical credentials of the latest Mazda model.

According to the manufacturer, the Mazda3 could help owners reduce their outgoings in a number of areas.

It claimed the vehicle boasts low CO2 emissions and strong fuel economy, which may assist drivers looking to cut the amount they spend on vehicle excise duty and at the pump.

On top of this, an independent survey has predicted second-hand versions of the car will attract relatively high prices, so owners may be able to make a tidy sum when the time comes to sell.

A number of experts said they expect the model to go for 35 per cent of its original price after three years or 60,000 miles.

However, motorists keen to reduce their outgoings may still find it is more cost-effective to simply replace worn parts on their current vehicle.

Drivers should be able to source a range of Mazda car spares online.
