Toyota has restyled its Auris model both inside and out, making a number of changes to the popular model.

Following feedback from customers, the vehicle’s suspension has been retuned to allow for better handling on European roads and the power steering as also been revised.

The new model boasts a new front and rear bumper design and integrated fog and head lamps. The Auris retains its current range of petrol and diesel engines.

Regarding the interior, more soft-touch materials have been used across the top of the instrument binnacle and around the glovebox, while the high-set handbrake has been altered to allow for easier operation.
Prices for the new models remain unchanged.

Toyota’s hybrid Auris was recently named among Motoring.co.uk’s eco-friendly vehicles to watch in 2010.

It will be the smallest hybrid on the market and could achieve 0-62mph in around ten seconds with a CO2 emission figure of 99g/km, according to the news provider.
