It is likely that the volume of Jaguar parts being manufactured has risen – if last month’s sales figures are to be believed.
The company has reported that its November sales went up by 50 per cent compared with the same period for 2008.
Geoff Cousins, managing director for Jaguar UK, said: "The success of both the new XF and XK models demonstrates excitement and interest in the new range of Jaguar cars."
He added: "I am delighted these figures reflect a step forward for Jaguar UK within a challenging market."
Mr Cousins stated that he believes the current success story for the company will continue into next year.
Jaguar sold more models of the XF so far in 2009 than it did previously when the motor was originally launched in 2008. Total sales for last year for the model were 8,462 yet they are already at 9,128 for this year.
The XF is said to be refined yet sporty, featuring the same amount of space that you would find in a saloon.
