Renault has announced the successful candidates for its Apprentice of the Year competition.
Winners represented graduates of the manufacturer’s Renault Trucks Advanced Apprenticeship Options Programme, which is run in collaboration with the RAC as its training partner.
Daniel Willis, of RH Commercial Vehicles at Nottingham, was lucky enough to take home this year’s gong for the Technical Apprenticeship category – Year 1.
Laurent Farman, managing director of Renault Trucks UK, said: "The apprentice awards ceremony is very much about recognition for the achievement of these outstanding young men."
He added that the training is vital to the brand which is the reason for Renault Trucks’ commitment to the programme.
Other champions included Matthew Melia of Renault Trucks Midlands, who won the Customer Service apprentice of the year.
As a brand, Renault claims to currently be represented in 118 countries.
