Motorists who want an auto that features plenty of standard car parts and accessories, but are also keen to reduce their impact on the planet, may want to follow the example of a company in Derby.
IMS Lettings has invested in three Toyota iQs to help their employees get to various appointments across the city.
People opting for an entry-level version of the model will find it comes with a range of standard equipment, including alloy wheels, air conditioning, leather steering wheel, heated door mirrors, nine airbags, electric front windows and a six-speaker radio and CD system.
Managing director of IMS Lettings Chris Griffin commented: "You don’t tend to get accidents because you can’t miss them. They’re not likely to get stolen either, for the same reason. I think they’re brilliant."
The edition of the auto chosen by the Derby firm boasts CO2 emissions of 99 g/km and fuel economy of 65.5 mpg.
In other news, Toyota recently announced it enjoyed a record-breaking sales month in the UK during September.
