A range of finely-tuned Lexus car parts have been created in order to allow engineers to build the most "driver-orientated" auto possible, it has been claimed.

The manufacturer’s production-ready LFA is due to be officially unveiled at the Tokyo motor show.

Buyers will be looking at paying about £336,000 for the vehicle and they will be able to choose from a range of options to personalise the model, including 30 varieties of paint finish.

Numbers are to be limited to 500 and a maximum of 20 will be built each month to try and ensure the highest possible standards.

Every V10 engine will be built by a single engineer, who will sign the finished product.

Lexus spokesman Haruhiko Tanahashi stated: "The LFA is a thoroughbred supercar, a machine engineered to achieve a single goal – to deliver a supreme driving experience."

Meanwhile, the manufacturer is also due to display its compact premium hybrid model – the LF-Ch – at the Tokyo motor show.
