A new programme relating to accidents has been launched by car manufacturers Fiat.
The Accident AfterCare service will cover both new and used vehicles for Fiat and Alfa Romeo car users in the UK.
Co-ordination of the scheme is to be managed centrally for the care package that aims to ensure repair works for the vehicles, in the event of an accident, are carried out through the company’s own repair network.
Rob Calver, parts and service director at Fiat Group Automobiles UK, said: "Business and profit improvement, linked to improving customer satisfaction levels, are a priority."
He added that the company believes by having such an scheme it will help to make sure that genuine parts are used for repairs and work carried out to the body of the vehicles will be of a high standard.
It would also mean that the parts fitted are sure to adhere to the Euro NCAP crash safety standards.
Fiat was established in 1899 and has produced over 400 different car models.
