Motorists looking for a car that can help them reduce their carbon footprint may want to follow the example of the Energy Saving Trust.

The organisation has recently taken delivery of some Fiat Bravo models for use on its Smarter Driving courses.

During this training, Energy Saving Trust instructors offer company employees advice on how they can reduce their impact on the planet by adopting fuel-saving habits on the road.

According to Fiat, its Bravo model is the ideal car to use for the courses – as the Eco version of the auto is capable of 62.7 mpg.

National sales manager James McMenamin expressed delight at the deal with the Energy Saving Trust.

He stated: "The Fiat Bravo is the perfect car for this initiative and I am sure the delegates undergoing training will enjoy their experience behind the wheel."

In other news, former Coronation Street actress Angela Griffin recently took delivery of a new 500C from the manufacturer.
