Drivers who like to stand out from the crowd may be impressed with the gullwing doors on a new Mercedes-Benz model.
The SLS AMG is due to be officially unveiled at the Frankfurt International Motor Show later this month and the manufacturer claimed it is likely to become "one of the most alluring sports cars of our time".
Dieter Zetsche, chairman of the board of management at Daimler AG, commented: "With the new SLS AMG, Mercedes-Benz is presenting a fascinating super sports car that will quicken the pulse of any car fan."
The auto can accelerate from zero to 62 mph in 3.8 seconds, before powering on to a top speed of 197 mph.
However, the carmaker explained the model’s fuel consumption of 21.4 mpg is the most impressive in its class.
In other news, Mercedes-Benz recently claimed its BlueZero E-Cell Plus electric auto is capable of long-distance journeys, as well as environmentally-friendly motoring in busy urban environments.
