The number of potential Hyundai car parts buyers may continue to grow as a result of the scrappage scheme, if the manufacturer’s comments are anything to go by.
According to the company, it has seen customers queuing up at dealerships keen to replace older, highly-polluting models with its i10.
The model is currently the best-selling auto under the government’s cash for bangers initiative.
In addition to this, the firm’s scrappage success has propelled it into the top ten when it comes to UK car sales for the first time ever.
Managing director Tony Whitehorn suggested the government programme would continue to have a positive effect on its order book for many years to come.
He explained the firm was confident that the thousands of Hyundai motorists created by the scheme would recommend the manufacturer’s vehicles to their friends.
"We know this will keep driving new customers into our showrooms," he said.
Meanwhile, people who want a vehicle kitted out with as many luxury Hyundai car parts as possible may want to consider the Coupe.
The manufacturer recently reminded drivers it comes with a range of features – from twin exhausts to 17-inch alloy wheels.
