Motorists who change car parts as soon as they become worn in order to improve the performance and green credentials of their auto may be impressed with the latest addition to Audi’s range.

The company has announced the launch of an A3 equipped with a new 1.6-litre engine.

It explained the unit offers improved fuel economy and lower CO2 emissions.

However, the group also pointed out the vehicle still provides great performance – as it is able to accelerate from zero to 62 mph in 11.4 seconds and has a top speed of 121 mph.

Motorists who are tempted to buy the car will find it qualifies for annual road tax of £35 because it releases 109 g/km of CO2.

They may also discover they can travel further between trips to the pump as the auto is capable of nearly 69 mpg.

Prices for the model start at £17,485.

However, motorists with an older vehicle built by the manufacturer – who cannot afford to replace their set of wheels at the moment – may find they can keep their current auto running smoothly by replacing worn parts with Audi car spares bought online.
