The number of motorists looking for Fiat car parts for Panda models may remain steady, if the manufacturer’s latest achievement is anything to go by.

It has been revealed the 1,500,000th example of the most popular segment A auto in Europe rolled off the production line at the group’s plant in Poland this month.

The company pointed out production of the vehicle has moved steadily upwards over the years, with no sign of a drop in demand.

During 2009, it is expected some 285,000 examples of the car will be built at the Polish facility – the largest number ever.

The historic 1,500,000th Panda was a 1.3 MultiJet left hand drive in magnetic blue, produced for a customer in Italy.

In 2004, the model was named European auto of the year and it has been the best-selling segment A vehicle across the continent since 2003.

Motorists keen to keep a much-loved Panda on the road for as long as possible may find replacing worn parts with Fiat car spares bought online can help.
