Motorists who save money by searching for cheap car parts online may find a model from Suzuki can help them cut costs in other areas, if the comments of the manufacturer are anything to go by.
The group suggested its Alto could be a cost-effective choice for those drivers looking to tighten their belts.
It pointed out the car qualifies for category 1E insurance, while owners will be looking at an annual road tax bill of £35.
On top of this, the auto boasts fuel economy of 64.2 mpg, which may mean motorists are able to make savings at the pump.
Since the scrappage scheme has been launched, the model has accounted for 54 per cent of the manufacturer’s 4,900 cash for bangers orders.
Commenting on the popularity of its vehicles under the initiative, director of sales and marketing David Seward said: "As the government funds begin to get eaten up, we hope customers will continue to visit Suzuki showrooms and choose a Suzuki as their next purchase."
Meanwhile, motorists who already own a much-loved model from the manufacturer may find they can keep it in peak condition for longer by replacing worn parts with Suzuki car spares purchased online.
