A new range of car parts for single-seat racing vehicles has been launched.

Owen Developments announced its GET products are available immediately and offer the kind of functionality normally associated with much more expensive items.

Spokesman Lee Owen said: "The quality, usability and overall design of the GET range is second to none and our field testing of the products … has proven the impressive performance of the units."

The range includes car video, audio and data recording systems with GPS lap timing, tyre warmers and temperature readers.

According to the firm, the products feature easy-to-read displays, straightforward software and robust casing.

Mr Owen predicted the items will enjoy a bright future, adding the range perfectly compliments the company’s other activities.

Earlier this year, the business launched a number of turbo heat shield jackets for fast road and motorsport use.

The products are made out of a mineral-based ceramic material that can withstand temperatures of up to 1,250 degrees C.
